Jamie Wooldridge was arrested earlier this month and charged with dissemination of matter harmful to a minor and enticing a child under 16, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said. He had been in contact with a North Adams police officer posing as a child for more than a year before his bust.
Police say Woolridge contacted the undercover agent who said they were 14 on Facebook in fall 2022. Woodridge acknowledged her age and how much trouble he could be in if he was caught sharing sexual messages with her. But he still sent lurid photos of his erect penis through his sweatpants, and he requested the teen to send him nudes and to perform sexual acts on camera, authorities noted.
Woolridge eventually worked up the courage to meet the "child" in person, but when he arrived, there was no girl, the prosecutor said. North Adams police made it, though.
Officers found two condoms in his pocket along with the phone he'd used to speak to the girl, the prosecutor said.
He was given a $25,000 bail and an order to have no contact with underage children except his biological kids and grandchildren.
